Tiffani Garskof, OTD, OTR/L

In 2020, I was accepted into St. Ambrose's occupational therapy program, which is accredited by The Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE). I added the "OTD" behind my name when I graduated with my doctorate in occupational therapy in 2023.

After graduate school, I started my career as an OT in Oklahoma while I studied to take The National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam.

Once I passed the NBCOT exam, I was able to register myself as a professional occupational therapist with the state. I got to officially add the "OTR/L" behind my name, as a registered and licensed professional OT. 

I have been practicing as an occupational therapist since 2023. I have experience working in outpatient clinics (in rural and metro Oklahoma) serving both pediatric and adult patients. In addition, I have worked in several hospitals across the country to evaluate and treat patients ranging from medically complex and staying in the ICU to stable inpatients admitted for acute rehabilitation. Most recently, I completed the 25-26 school year with a public school district here in the Chicagoland area serving grades K-8.
